Following my dance escapades, I ventured into the world of travel as a Chicago-based international flight attendant. Hello, my name is Danyelle Morse. I have lived in Florida most of my life and have been going to the theme parks since I was in a stroller. One of my first memories of Walt Disney World was wanting to be a Cast Member when I grew up. After pursuing my career in Disney and Universal, working between the 2 of them since 2011, I have learned a thing or two to assist and help plan a vacation for families big and small! Growing up I had two passions, helping people, and traveling. I have been very fortunate to enjoy many travels domestic and abroad, and I’m excited to combine this joy with a second career. While I have traveled to many destinations, Europe has proven to be my favorite to explore and return to. Throughout my life, I would watch Rick Steves every time he came on PBS. I wondered how to go to college to become him. while I was not able to major in traveling, I did earn my master’s degree in counseling. As a graduate student, I was able to study abroad in Italy and fell in love with the people and culture. My wife and I even hosted a foreign exchange student from Italy. We are looking forward to visiting her this June as she graduates from Dental School in Spain! This will also allow us to visit some new destinations in Europe: Valencia, Berlin, and Naples.
The counseling field has allowed me the flexibility to continue with my passion for traveling. I have been able to travel to Europe and visit many places including Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, France, The Netherlands, Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Spain, and Germany. My travels have also taken me to many islands in the Caribbean, Central America, Bermuda, Colombia, Canada, Hawaii, and throughout the United States.
I do enjoy booking Disney vacations, however, my passion is planning European vacations, cruises, and ski trips. My favorite time to travel to Europe is during the Christmas season to see the holiday markets in Prague, Germany, and Italy. One of the most amazing ways to see these markets is through a river cruise. River cruises let you explore more and experience the culture of the country. Hello there! I am Katie Dillard, your new travel best friend! I specialize in Disney travel as well as family and couple getaway trips. I have a heart for clients who have social and/or travel anxiety, as well as those who are processing grief or trauma and looking to travel as an escape.
As a little girl I grew up taking many family trips Disneyland. One of my favourite memories was when my mom would take my little brothers back to our hotel and my dad would keep me and me oldest brother in the park and we would run through and do as many rides as we could fit in during “nap time”. I traveled around the US a lot as a kid and no matter where we were or what we were doing my dad found a way to make it the most fun version possible & find adventure at every turn. When he passed unexpectedly in 2018, it felt like the world was shattered. In 2021, my husband and I had the chance to take our little girls (then 2 &4) to Disney World, and I found a healing and a connection to my dad that I never expected to. Being able to see “the World” through their eyes, zoom us around to fit as many rides in as possible, choreograph nap time around ride wait times, find the best snacks & pin trading spots, and make some of our best memories, made me feel like I understood my dad even more. That trip was such a gift.
Once I got home I couldn’t stop thinking about how to get back to that feeling, and I realized how much I love traveling with my kids and how even though they are small it’s not as hard as I had thought! I also realized how healing it is to trauma just in general to be able to get out in the world & experience something new & amazing that resets your outlook. I became an agent with Discover the Magic Vacations so I can bring my passion for adventure to new friends, especially those needing someone that knows how hard it is to even make a phone call when life feels like it’s gone off the rails, but you are in desperate need of a getaway.
