Becoming a home-based travel agent is easy! Discover the Magic Vacations offers training and support. In just a short amount of time you can be booking trips and making commission. Read below for how you can start booking trips and making money right from your home.
Getting Started
Getting started is easy. We send out a contract that DOES NOT bind you to a certain amount of time. It is simply for you to understand and agree to abide by the rules and guidelines of our suppliers. It breaks down everything that is your responsibility under Discover the Magic Vacations. It also explains everything that is included and how to use our information to grow your business.
Once we receive this back signed electronically, you will get a welcome email that gives you links and instructions on how to start the free training as well as how to set up your accounts with some of the top suppliers in the industry. Starting also cost you nothing as far as start up cost.
Training
Training is free and provided for you to learn each of our suppliers and how to book a vacation with them. Discover the Magic Vacations also offers webinars and onsite training at no cost to you. We provide a “family-style” support system and will help you every step of the way. All of our agents are at your finger tips for any assistance you may need at any time to make your business a success.
Commission
Being an independent travel agent you are paid commission. We have some of the highest commission pay outs at up to 80%. Commission pay out depends on experience and how much you book. You will have a chance to earn your accreditation through IATA which can open up more opportunities and discounts. You do have to book at least $5000 in paid commissions in order to earn an IATA card. You can also get commission pay outs on your own vacations. Commissions are paid typically after the trip travels and by the 6th of every month.
Cost
There is NO COST for you to become an agent with my Discover the Magic Vacation. The only cost will be any that you decide to spend on things such as business cards, personal advertising, and so on. You are an independent agent and will run it as your own business under Discover the Magic Vacations. You can work your own hours and at your own pace. You will be provided a company email and given information to get you up and running.
